Use cats and mint in your barns .
Don’t leave anything edible i.e. ,food stuffs ,horse treats, grain or liquid supplements or anything that a mouse would eat in anything other than a mouse proof container .
Trash can lids must be tight and make sure your feed containers are mouse proof.
Horse treats should get put into tins or anything that a rodent can’t chew through.
Make sure that all of your barn areas are swept clean and any debris is picked up because any undisturbed areas make good mouse homes !
Hang most things instead of leaving them on the floor of the barn lockers and Tack rooms .
Keep barn aisle swept and tidy .
Stuff the mint into any mouse holes that you find in your stables.
Cats and mint will work but not without keeping everything neat and tidy!
