Everyone wants to have a well behaved horse .
The horse will behave well towards you if you put some hours into being around your horse .
He will learn how to move around you and be able to connect with you.
In the beginning you and the your horse might take some time to be coordinated but horses are inquisitive animals and will enjoy being entertained!
Some things to try are ;
Leading and Ground Work
Grooming , Clipping and Bathing
Freeschooling and Lungeing
Free jumping
Trail riding, Lessons and Clinics
Ask and expert if you are not sure how to proceed especially when it comes to Lungeing and Long Reining .
These two things ,along with riding well ,are considered an “art” .

You will only need the basics of walk,trot and canter in each direction half halts and full halts .
The horse must not be allowed to change the direction on his own .
These are valuable training tools but they require professional skills .
When you teach a horse to Lunge and/or Long Rein you teach him to accept the aids , tack (equipment )and voice .
He also learns balance and self carriage .
All of the above lead to a better trained riding horse .
