It’s very important to observe your horse ‘s facial expressions and to make eye contact with him. You can discover a lot of things about your horse if you pay attention to this. Horses use their ears ,tails , bodies ,hooves and legs and their heads to communicate.
This is the way the horse communicates with other horses as well as humans. Horses that are afraid will mostly try to run away as they are animals of fleet. Pay attention to your horse’s ears .
Pinning the ears flat back on the head and swishing the tail is a warning sign that the horse is very unhappy and could be dangerous.
Try to find out what is bothering the horse and fix it !
Too hard brushing ,pinching the horse with the girth etc. can turn a good horse into a cantankerous one !
Like wise never shove or poke your horse with any part of your body .
Never be in a hurry around a Horse.
To treat the horse in a respectful manner always use the butt end of a crop ,lightly,to move the horse away and position him where you want him .
You will notice that your horse is happy when he looks at you with a big kind eye and is working quietly with you.
